Job Description
Precision Resources, a division of the Trimarc Group Inc., is currently seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer for a HYBRID position for one of our Alabama clients. This qualified individual will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of server operating systems, hardware, storage and application software while monitoring usage, performance, resources, and troubleshooting daily issues.
Compensation:
$100K to $125K depending upon experience
Responsibilities:
- Experience z/OS mainframe systems
- Perform capacity and performance tuning activities
- Storage Management
- Experience with mainframe security such as RACF, ACF2, Tophat
- Use Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools for defined user access
- Experience modifying, configuring, patching and maintaining versions
- Assist with planning, auditing, performing and testing disaster recovery of the mainframe systems and applications
- Mainframe tool support (BMC, Broadcom, IBM)
- JES3 Plus, JES3, JES2
- Support and coordinate the on-call rotation schedules
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is desired but NOT required
- US Citizenship or Green Card required
