We are partnering with a prestigious law firm to hire an experienced Human Resources Manager for its Dallas office. This is a highly visible leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HR function while managing a broad team of HR and administrative support professionals.
Working closely with the Director of Human Resources, attorneys, managers, and firm leadership, the Human Resources Manager will serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, staff recruitment, performance management, onboarding, engagement, compliance, and other HR-related matters.
The position will have significant people leadership responsibility, overseeing approximately 26 employees across Human Resources, legal administrative support, word processing, and reception. The Manager will be responsible for coaching and developing staff, managing performance, addressing employee relations matters, and ensuring the firm's administrative teams are operating effectively.
The role also has a strong operational component and will assist with recruiting and administrative management during periods of increased hiring activity. The successful candidate will be someone who is comfortable balancing traditional HR responsibilities with hands-on management of a large support population.
Prior law firm experience is strongly preferred due to the structure of the position and the importance of understanding attorney support, legal administrative teams, and the unique demands of a professional services environment.
