Litigation Paralegal (Pittsburgh, PA or Atlanta, GA)
We are partnering with an Am Law 60 law firm to hire a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling commercial litigation and complex business litigation matters. This individual will work directly with attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, taking ownership of case management, court deadlines, filings, and substantive litigation support from inception through resolution.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment, experience managing cases from beginning to end, and the ability to proactively move matters forward with minimal attorney oversight. Candidates with experience drafting medical chronologies and familiarity with Georgia and/or Pennsylvania court systems are highly desirable.
This position is based in either Pittsburgh or Atlanta and requires 100% in-office attendance (5 days per week).
The schedule is 9:00 AM 5:30 PM (37.5-hour workweek) with a 1,650 billable hour requirement.

Responsibilities:
Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
Maintain and monitor case calendars and court deadlines
Electronically file documents through Federal ECF and state court filing systems
Conduct PACER research and online legal research
Prepare drafts of pleadings, motions, notices, and other litigation documents
Assist attorneys with commercial and complex business litigation matters
Coordinate case organization and document management
Utilize eDiscovery databases and litigation support technology
Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other research tools
Draft medical chronologies (preferred)
Proactively identify and advance litigation tasks with limited supervision
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm
Experience handling cases from beginning to end
Commercial litigation and/or complex business litigation experience
Strong knowledge of federal and state court procedures
Experience with ECF filing and PACER
Experience using Microsoft Office and eDiscovery platforms
Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accountability and ownership
Technology savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software
Associate's or Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate preferred (relevant experience may substitute)
Experience with Georgia and/or Pennsylvania court systems is a plus
