Client Data Analyst (Nashville, TN)
We are partnering with a prestigious, national law firm to hire a Client Data Analyst to join their growing Strategy & Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Business Development Strategy, this newly created role will be responsible for transforming client and business data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the firm's industry groups and client teams.
This position, based out of the firm's Nashville office, offers the opportunity to take ownership of a critical function that has historically been handled collaboratively across multiple team members. The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, highly analytical, comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders, and passionate about leveraging data, dashboards, and emerging technologies to drive business growth.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze client, industry, and practice group data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable business insights
• Build and maintain client-specific and portfolio-level dashboards
• Develop clear, compelling, and user-friendly data visualizations
• Create client growth and industry opportunity reports that support revenue generation initiatives
• Continuously enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics capabilities
• Collaborate with Strategy & Marketing colleagues to ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms
• Partner with Client Growth professionals to develop KPIs and measurement frameworks
• Translate complex data into meaningful recommendations for partners and firm leadership
• Prepare reports, presentations, and analytics summaries for industry groups, client teams, and firm leadership
• Support strategic planning initiatives through data-driven analysis and reporting
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Business, Analytics, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred
• No less than 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or related analytical functions
• Professional services experience strongly preferred; law firm experience is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience working with large, complex data sets and reporting tools
• Strong dashboard development and data visualization experience
• Demonstrated ability to convert data into actionable business recommendations
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
• Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and presenting insights with confidence
