The Role
Own the technical architecture and engineering standards for a greenfield SOC2-compliant SaaS platform built on AWS with hybrid connectivity to Azure and Databricks. This is the foundational leadership position, and this person has input into every infrastructure, security, and delivery decision.

Responsibilities

1. Designs and maintains Terraform modules,
2. CI/CD golden path templates, and cloud infrastructure that enforce SOC 2-compliant patterns by default.
3. Owns the "paved road" that product engineers deploy on.
4. Partners with the DevSecOps Engineer to validate security requirements in every template.
5. Dotted-line governance to vCISO.

Requirements

1. Deep hands-on background with AWS (IAM, networking, Organizations) and Terraform at scale
2. Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid architectures involving Azure connectivity
3. Ability to set technical direction while remaining hands-on during the buildout phase
4. Strong opinions on infrastructure-as-code, zero-trust networking, and least-privilege access models
