Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Analyst with strong test coordination experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies, hands-on testing expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively within Agile and Waterfall environments. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality software by leading the QA process, coordinating test plans, and providing detailed reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project planning meetings to understand business and technical requirements.

  • Develop and execute detailed test strategies, test plans, and test scripts (manual and automated).

  • Perform QA testing, defect identification, documentation, and resolution tracking.

  • Manage test lifecycle activities across Agile/Scrum and Waterfall projects.

  • Conduct test execution and track results, ensuring traceability from requirements through to test outcomes.

  • Report testing status, metrics, and quality risks during daily standups and project reviews.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate defects and validate software quality.

  • Utilize HP Quality Center/ALM and Team Foundation Server for test management.

  • Provide support for both functional and performance testing initiatives.

  • Coordinate and monitor automated test execution using tools such as HP QTP and Selenium (if applicable).

  • Execute SQL queries and verify data integrity for backend/database validation.

  • Document and communicate QA metrics and issues effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in test coordination, manual and automated testing.

  • Proficient in HP Quality Center/ALM and/or Microsoft Test Manager with TFS.

  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).

  • Strong knowledge of test methodologies, verification, and validation techniques.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data handling and reporting.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to project teams and management.

  • Team-oriented mindset with adaptability to work in dynamic environments.

  • Ability to accept feedback and direction from senior team members and leadership.
