Job Description

We are seeking a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator with strong copywriting skills to join our team to craft
compelling content that elevates brand, supports client engagement and drives business growth. Working as a collaborative member of the firm’s shared support team in ‘The Hub’, this role will mainly focus on providing copywriting support but will also provide general marketing and business development (BD) assistance across a broad range of exciting initiatives and projects. The Hub team offers agile assistance, delivering valuable additional and flexible support to work on priority clients, practice/sector groups and markets, as the need arises.

You’ll be responsible for:
• Content creation: Developing high quality, persuasive content for a variety of channels, including articles, client alerts, firm publications, client pitches, newsletters and social media. Additional support with proof-reading and editing existing content and ensuring all content is aligned to BCLP’s brand and tone of voice.
• Brand storytelling: Articulating the firm’s value proposition, expertise and market positioning through clear, engaging narratives, tailored to
target audiences
• Content strategy: Contributing to the development of a firmwide content strategy, aligned with marketing and BD goals and ensuring
consistency and brand integrity
• BD support: Collaborating with partners and marketing and BD colleagues to produce tailored marketing materials that support client
acquisition and retention efforts. Supporting with pitch creation and CRM updates
• Marketing campaigns: Working with the wider team to support with marketing campaigns, including content generation. This might include
working with brand and design, updating invitations, supporting events, mailshots, communications, website updates and social media posts
• Communications: Helping the team with internal communications, creating client alerts and posts using standard templates, tracking activity and assisting with reporting
• Digital, social media and website: Ensuring content is fully optimized for search engine visibility and posting content onto website pages and social media platforms
• Presentations: Updating and editing client and internal presentations
• Global support: Acting as part of a wider global team who collaborate and support each other on a global basis
• Quality control and compliance: Ensuring all content complies with BCLP’s brand guidelines and confidentiality requirements.

Skills and experience required
• Degree educated, ideally with a Marketing (CIM), Journalism or copywriting qualification
• Professional services background
• Proven record of producing high-impact marketing and BD content
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye fo rdetail
• Ability to craft compelling narratives that support business objectives
• Self-motivated, proactive and highly organised
• Happy to work flexibly with agility across the business
• Able to manage competing priorities, requiring multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn
