Job Description

Floater Legal Assistant (3+ years’ experience)

One of New Jersey’s Top Ranked Law Firms seeks a full-time Floater Legal Assistant to provide interim coverage and support to the attorneys and the firm. Candidate will be carrying out various administrative services and will be supporting attorneys across multiple practices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience that includes litigation. Candidate must possess a strong work ethic, excellent oral and written communication skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, ability to work in all practice areas, and ability to interact effectively with attorneys and clients.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of and ability to apply office software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and PDF.
  • Ability to coordinate work assignments, prepare legal correspondence and documents, transcribe digital dictation, organize and maintain files and records.
  • Experience with e-filing in New Jersey and New York preferred.
