Job Description

Friedman Williams is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Attorney Recruiter to join our dynamic recruiting team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing top legal talent for our client law firms. You will play a key role in identifying qualified attorneys, fostering strong candidate relationships, and helping ensure a seamless hiring process that aligns with our organization’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with hiring partners and department heads to understand attorney staffing needs and hiring criteria.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top legal talent, including associates, in-house counsel and partners.
• Maintain and expand a strong pipeline of qualified attorney candidates through networking, direct outreach, referrals, and legal recruiting platforms.
• Manage job postings and maintain applicant tracking systems.
• Conduct market research and stay informed about trends in the legal industry and competitive hiring practices.
• Negotiate offers and manage candidate communication throughout the hiring lifecycle.
• Represent the firm at client meetings and professional conferences.
• Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics and progress.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; JD or legal background is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in legal recruiting and attorney placement.
• Strong knowledge of the legal hiring processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple searches and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
• Strong negotiation skills
• High level of discretion and professionalism.

Ideally, we are seeking candidates who live in New Jersey, New York or Pennsylvania, however a remote position can be made available.
