Job Description

The Social Media and Content Specialist will play a key role in the firm’s communication function by handling day-to-day management of the firm’s social media presence, along with various multi-media responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities
• Day-to-day oversight of the firm’s social media presence, including designing and maintaining visuals and content, with an emphasis on Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs and other new platforms as appropriate
• Manage the firm’s web site, including daily web site and intranet posts
• Monitor industry web site developments and advise on improvements to the firm’s web site
• Produce data analytics reports
• Continue to grow podcast programs
• Manage an active video program
• Assist with photography needs
• Collaborate with the Business Development Team to: Evaluate firm, practice group and industry-related web site and social media content produced by competitor firms to inform recommendations for the enhancement of the firms positioning, Support key business development initiatives through the development of social media strategies, Help identify additional content needs in coordination with the business development and communications groups

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Experience with online paid digital campaigns
• Experience with video and podcast creation and posting
• Experience with photography
• Experience with designing social templates utilizing the Adobe Creative Cloud products
• Proficiency with web analytics tools and SEO
• Familiarity with state bar advertising rules and spam laws a plus Requirements
• Undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing or related field of study
• Preferably 2 years of experience in PR or marketing
• Deep knowledge of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premier, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
• Strong writing, editing and especially proofreading skills
• Strong attention to detail, solid organizational and time management skills
• Proactive team player, willing to learn and go above and beyond
