Job Description

ProspectBlue is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join a reputable firm in Washington, D.C. This role offers a hybrid schedule (4 days in-office, 1 day remote) and the opportunity to handle a variety of personal injury cases from inception through trial.

Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.

Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery; conduct depositions; appear at court hearings; and prepare cases for trial.

Collaborate on trial strategy, prepare witnesses, and present evidence in court.

Conduct legal research and draft high-quality written work product.

Maintain regular communication with clients and guide them through the litigation process.

Negotiate settlements in clients’ best interests.

Ensure all filings comply with D.C. court procedures.

Qualifications:

Licensed to practice in Washington, D.C.

3–5 years of personal injury litigation experience.

Strong litigation and trial preparation skills.

Excellent client communication and negotiation abilities.

Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple active cases.

Proficiency with legal technology and case management software.

Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.
