Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Consultant – D365 Finance to support a Life Sciences manufacturing client in resolving critical finance and operational issues within their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) environment.

This role will function as a hands-on functional expert, providing immediate support across core finance modules while working closely with business, finance, and IT stakeholders to stabilize and optimize system performance.

The ideal candidate will bring strong D365 Finance expertise, experience in manufacturing environments, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, issue-resolution focused engagement.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional expertise across D365 Finance modules, including configuration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Lead analysis and remediation of issues across:
    • General Finance (GL, AP, AR)
    • Fixed Assets & Asset Leasing
    • Project Accounting module
    • Production order financials within manufacturing environments
  • Partner with Finance and Operations teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
  • Support month-end close stabilization and financial reporting accuracy
  • Translate business requirements into system configuration and process improvements
  • Collaborate with technical teams where required for enhancements or fixes
  • Ensure alignment with internal controls, compliance, and financial governance standards
  • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams

 Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
  • Strong functional expertise in:
    • Core Finance modules (GL, AP, AR)
    • Fixed Assets and Asset Leasing
    • Project Accounting
    • Production / Manufacturing financials
  • Proven experience in issue resolution, system stabilization, and post-implementation support
  • Experience working in manufacturing or life sciences environments preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and controls
  • Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes in a staff augmentation model
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global or multi-entity finance environments
  • Familiarity with D365 integrations and data flows
  • Exposure to compliance-driven environments (SOX, GxP, etc.)
  • Prior consulting experience within ERP transformation or remediation programs
