This role will lead the application team responsible for building a 1st-3rd grade supplemental grant program and also building a statewide IEP module within an existing application.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 20 years of experience with technology project management (specifically software development)
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience:
- Agile Coach and Leader
- Software Development
- Jira Project Administrator
- State Agencies
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver vital software applications and infrastructure.
- Lead Agile software development teams to execute the full software development lifecycle ensuring on-time delivery of projects critical to fulfilling legislative requirements and agency strategic priorities.
- Oversee, direct, and evaluate the work of project staff, and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including agency leadership, other state agencies, and private sector partners.
- Ensure predictable delivery and efficient use of resources, minimizing costly rework and delays.
- Champion deliverable quality guaranteeing the smooth operation of state services and maintaining user trust.
- Prevent service disruptions and potential damage to the agency’s reputation.
- Prioritize stakeholder satisfaction fosters strong relationships and secures buy-in from all involved parties, ensuring the project meets the needs of everyone and contributes to overall success.
- Empower a team to achieve extraordinary results and contribute significantly to the agency’s mission by fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Articulate a clear vision; guide the team’s efforts, ensure alignment with strategic goals, and enable proactive planning and risk mitigation, maximizing the chances of project success and long-term impact.
