JOB SUMMARY
This role will be responsible for upgrading a custom APEX application on the Oracle APEX platform; this involves interpreting system specifications and collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of the requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with web technologies: basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience with the following:
  • Oracle Application Express (APEX) for developing web applications
  • Oracle SQL for data modeling and PL/SQL for backend programming
  • Oracle Database management and optimization
  • Using and integrating APEX plugins to extend application functionality

PREFERRED

• Oracle APEX Developer Certified Expert
• Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Update a custom APEX application, ensuring that specified business needs are met.
• Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts to support application functionality and ensure efficient and secure data handling.
• Add additional features to daily uploads from current systems into the APEX application, ensuring seamless data synchronization and accessibility.
• Ensure that the application complies with industry standards, security policies, and best practices, including robust data protection measures.
