We are looking for a Vice President of Channel to lead a team of Channel and business development personal. You will work in collaboration with the Executives to ensure effective execution of company objectives and align with the channel team while reporting the President and CEO. This position will manage a team of Channel and business development professionals across the US. You will manage a wide scope of duties including designing strategy and setting goals for growth, growing the business, addressing local customer demand, setting policies and processes in line with business goals, and provide technology solutions to our partners. The VP of Channel is responsible for leading efforts for business development thought penetrating new distribution channels, master agencies and on boarding new partners and networking events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Commission/Bonus:
TYPES OF SALES and PAYMENTS-. “Profit” is based on the difference between ComTec’ s Sale price less the anticipated cost of material, labor, ongoing monthly licenses, and any third-party commissions/referral fees or revenue split. Only work that is quoted through company software, “Salesforce”, (or its equivalent) and approved by Senior Management, converted, and reflects proper profit margin structures shall be approved for bonus and commission structure. No additional discounts, taxes or additions to the profit margin shall be included or quoted once the project is converted. Should the estimated profit margin be reduced during installation from that of what was originally estimated, adjustments will be made to the profit associated with the sales commissions accordingly. Management has final say on any discrepancies between profit and final approved profit. Sales are sold between two divisions, ComTec Cloud Service and ComTec Consulting.
MINIMAL PROFIT OBJECTIVE- (“MPO”)
The VP of Channel is responsible for exceeding the MPO to be eligible for full. commissions and bonus plans. The MPO is a combination of minimal performance objectives defined as:

The team leader shall be paid a bonus commission on the delta between what was the minimal profit objective for the team, also known as the quarterly budget, and the actual profit generated from cloud sales for the quarter. Any delta below the minimal shall be carried forward to the next quarter until the minimal profit objective is met. Any costs associated with Team lead for the quarter shall be added to the budget such as events, sponsorships, flights, expenses and any approved team expenses. Third party sales, referral commissions and consulting sales are not calculated or eligible for accelerated bonus below.
