Scheduler/Production Planner Top International Steel Trader
Location: St. Louis, MO, United States
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Plan and prepare production schedules and work orders
- Analyze production specifications and capacity data to coordinate meeting customer orders and implementing forecasting and analytical tools
- Raw material release
- Customer claims
- Monthly fuel surcharge, and Inventory KPI measurements
- Effective interaction with all personnel at the facility and the ability to work through complex situations.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within our company; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experienced in Microsoft Office
- Basic accounting skills
- High School graduate or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding and experience with ERP driven MRP programs
- Commitment to self-improvement, cost reduction, product quality, and customer service
- 4-year college degree in related field
- Strong computer skills with multiple software platforms
