As a Structural Engineer II, you will be designing and developing structural systems, including performing structural analysis and designing task and modeling assignments for various project building types, sizes and materials. This includes the delivery portions of project work ranging from conception design to final construction documentation while collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide expertise in the technical aspects of the structural design including code compliance, specifications, systems integration and constructability.
- Use design software/technology, including Revit, AutoCAD, RAM and other emerging technologies, for presentation and production purposes.
- Work with Senior Structural Engineer toward quality assurance and quality control measures for all projects.
- Foster and maintain a collaborative professional working relationship with all various internal and external disciplines.
- Mentor the work of less experienced staff.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC/ABET-accredited program or equivalent in education and experience required for professional licensure.
- Ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Minimum of 5 years of structural engineering experience with a wide variety of project types.
- Strong knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Master’s degree.
- NCEES registration and NSPE membership.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with current license.
- CSI-CDT certification.
- LEED AP BD+C and/or WELL AP certification.
- Experience using RISA or RAM Elements.
- Experience in Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Teams.
