Salary Range: $30.05-$43.27/hr

Schedule: Night Shift, PRN and Full Time


Position Summary:

This position offers a dynamic and rewarding role, providing essential care in a 6-bed Emergency Department within a Critical Access Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions such as heart attacks or strokes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Performs the primary functions of a registered nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of all assigned patients ages newborn through geriatric.
• Responsible for meeting established standards of nursing care.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and recovery processes.
• Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Assist with airway management and other critical interventions as necessary.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the medical records system.

• Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
• Current RN license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Maintain all required certifications as outlined in the scope of services for the assigned department.
• EPIC EMR experience is preferred.
• ADN required, BSN preferred.
