Pay Range: $27.00/hr - $34.60/hr

Schedule: Direct Hire

Position Summary:

Provides nutritional care and support to in-patients and physician-referred outpatients according to established guidelines and under the immediate supervision of the clinical manager.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs nutritional assessments on patient to determine nutritional status and make appropriate recommendations.
• Interviews patients to obtain information regarding the patient’s nutritional status.
• Reviews doctor’s orders for dietary requirements and modified diets for patients.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree from accredited institution with a major in food and nutrition, in conjunction with Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education approved program.
• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration preferred but will accept registry eligible*.
• Certification with the state of Indiana or application for certification within one month of Registration.
• Two years’ experience in dietetics and/or food service operations preferred.
