What we're looking for 

A fast-growing US-based media brand is looking for a Video Editor to shape the look and feel of its podcast and social media. You’ll edit both long-form and short-form content, from full YouTube videos and podcast episodes to quick, scroll-stopping clips. The brand is scaling quickly, and this is your chance to own the editing craft from day one and build something bigger over time.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Edit full-length YouTube videos and podcast episodes, including color grading, trailers, intros, overlays, and motion graphics.
• Cut high-quality short-form reels from each video and episode and hand them off to the social media manager.
• Match an established visual style and aesthetic, using the inspiration and reference edits shared with you.
• Bring fresh ideas to the table, suggest better approaches, and keep an eye on what is performing well on social.
• Use AI tools to speed up your workflow so you can spend more time on the creative side of editing.

Requirements

• Experience editing long-form and short-form content.
• Hands-on skills in color grading, trailer editing, overlays, and motion graphics.
• A creative eye and a style of your own, not the same edit every time.
• Solid knowledge of social media trends and what works in the market.
• The confidence to share your opinion and suggest a better approach when something might not work.

Nice to Have

• Graphic design experience.
• Thumbnail creation skills.
