What we're looking for 

We're partnering with a fast-growing US-based premium food DTC brand scaling across both direct-to-consumer and national retail. They keep execution in-house, move fast with modern AI tooling, and are looking for a hands-on Shopify operator to own the day-to-day build, health, and optimization of their storefront. This is an execution role for a builder who would rather ship the fix than file a ticket for it.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and QA landing pages, taking a Figma or brief to a live, high-converting page with every event (view content, add-to-cart, purchase) firing correctly across browsers and servers.
• Own tracking and pixel health, diagnosing and fixing Meta CAPI event deduplication, matching event IDs, GA4/GTM, and test-event QA so ad platforms see clean data.
• Manage apps and bundles, including real end-to-end migrations (for example, moving bundle SKUs to a Recharge-compatible bundle app).
• Run on-site merchandising and promo mechanics (out-of-stock swaps, SKU substitutions, GWP thresholds, promo transitions, cart fixes, preventing overselling).
• Proactively suggest tests, spin up test landing and offer pages, run competitor analysis, and audit the store for conversion leaks.
• Support the SKU-expansion roadmap and use AI tooling (Claude Code, Figma, GitHub) to ship faster.

Requirements

• Hands-on Shopify experience (theme, Liquid, HTML/CSS) and comfort in a GitHub PR workflow.
• Real tracking and analytics chops (Meta Pixel and Conversions API, event deduplication, GTM, GA4) and the ability to debug why an event is not firing.
• App and subscription fluency (Shopify apps, bundles, ideally Recharge or subscription commerce).
• Landing-page ability (you can build one and make it convert, not just fill a template).
• A test-and-learn mindset, strong self-directed problem-solving, merchandising and ops awareness, and ownership.
• English sufficient for a US-based async team.

Nice to Have

• DTC, food, CPG, or premium-brand background.
• CRO or A/B testing experience.
• Figma comfort.
