About Proppel

Proppel is a recruitment agency connecting top talent across the US, Canada, and Latin America with opportunities at some of the most exciting companies in the world.

Whether you are looking for your next role or the right move to advance your career, we will make it happen.

What We're Looking For

A fast-growing US-based DTC e-commerce brand is looking for a Data Analyst with Analytics Engineering experience to become a universal analytics resource across the company. You will report directly to the company's CTO, operating independently to manage recurring reporting while also leading larger projects to bring structure to data that's currently scattered across multiple tools. This is a role for someone who understands how data actually gets built and stored, not just how to query it, and who digs deeper when something in the data is worth uncovering.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as an analytics resource for teams across the company, answering questions like how merch is selling by giveaway campaign timing, product type, and site placement.
  • Build and automate recurring reports, including weekly marketing performance reports delivered directly to stakeholders.
  • Lead larger projects to standardize how data is transformed and made accessible across multiple tools, including data currently spread across Triplewhale, Mongo, Neon, and Shopify's own analytics.
  • Take ownership of smaller-scale data implementation and structuring work as it comes up, with support available for any larger infrastructure projects.
  • Build dashboards and insights from the ground up for newly launched features with little current visibility, including referral, loyalty, and cashback programs.
  • Track and report on how new feature rollouts are performing as adoption grows.
  • Deliver analyses the business can rely on as accurate, well-reasoned, and actionable.

What You Bring

  • 4 to 6 years of experience combining data analytics with data engineering exposure.
  • A solid understanding of how databases work, with hands-on implementation experience, not just querying data others have built.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills
  • A track record of end-to-end projects, showing the ability to build, interpret, and recommend.
  • Strong critical thinking, with a habit of digging deeper into data even when not explicitly asked.
  • Comfort working independently and setting your own priorities once you understand the goal.
  • Advanced English proficiency, for understanding complex requests and reporting findings clearly.
  • Comfort using AI tools as part of your daily analytical workflow.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Shopify's APIs, Recharge, or similar e-commerce tools.
  • Experience with Meta advertising data.
  • Experience with Triplewhale or similar attribution and analytics platforms (a strong plus, given its non-standard query and join structure).
  • Experience with MongoDB
Benefits
  • Competitive USD salary.
  • 100% remote work.
  • Paid Time Off.

Notes:
*You are applying to work with an international company. Make sure your CV is in English, otherwise your application can't be considered.
