About Proppel

Proppel is a recruitment agency connecting top talent across the US, Canada, and Latin America with opportunities at some of the most exciting companies in the world.

Whether you are looking for your next role or the right move to advance your career, we will make it happen.

What we're looking for

A US-based membership and benefits company that builds and operates its own portfolio of consumer brands on shared, proprietary infrastructure is hiring a hands-on Technical Product Manager. The company creates brands around defined communities across verticals like gaming, van life, overlanding, fishing, and tiny homes, growing recurring revenue through products, partnerships, content, and subscription and giveaway mechanics. This is a builder's role, not a write-and-hand-off position.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintain and ship updates across five live Shopify storefronts on a shared theme, including landing pages, product and membership pages, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Work directly in Liquid, HTML, and CSS for most changes, scoping and speccing only what truly needs a developer.
  • Run the A/B testing program end to end, from hypothesis through building variants, launching, monitoring, and documenting results.
  • Pull your own data using SQL, ClickHouse, Triple Whale, Shopify and Recharge reporting, and GA4 to inform decisions.
  • Own defined slices of the roadmap from ideation through execution and measurement, writing specs and tickets developers can act on without a follow-up meeting.
  • Translate between engineering, marketing, and CX, feeding support and customer signals back into the roadmap.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in product management, growth, or a technical program role in DTC ecommerce, subscription, or consumer marketplace businesses.
  • Hands-on Shopify experience, comfortable reading and editing Liquid templates yourself, not just managing a developer who does.
  • Direct experience running A/B tests end to end, including building the variants.
  • Working SQL proficiency, able to answer your own data questions without filing a request.
  • Daily, demonstrated use of AI tools like Claude or Cursor in your actual workflow, with concrete examples of what you've built.
  • Strong written communication, since most decisions here happen in writing.
  • A genuinely critical mindset, comfortable pushing back on ideas that don't hold up, including your own.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Recharge or another subscription billing platform.
  • Familiarity with Klaviyo, Triple Whale, ClickHouse, Monday.com, or Jira.
  • Background in sweepstakes, contests, gaming, or regulated promotions.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for verticals like gaming, van life, overlanding, fishing, or tiny homes.
  • Comfort with Git-based theme workflows and early-stage environments without a process for everything.

Benefits

  • Competitive USD salary.
  • 100% remote work.
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off.
