What we're looking for

A fast-growing US-based functional beverage brand is hiring a Sales Manager to essentially run its entire retail department. With nationwide placement in a major national retailer already live and more chains on the way, you'll own broker and retail strategy end to end, with a clear path to grow into a full Director title.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and manage broker relationships to drive new retail placements and expand market presence.
• Own retail sell-in strategy, pricing discussions, and promotional alignment across regional and national accounts.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to hit revenue targets, and support new product launches with clear go-to-market plans.
• Track sales metrics, retail velocity, distribution, and reorder rates, then adjust strategy and forecast for leadership.
• Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align inventory, promotions, and forecasts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of sales leadership experience in supplements, superfoods, or functional wellness.
• A proven track record managing broker relationships and securing placements with national and regional retail chains.
• Demonstrated success opening new retail accounts and driving sustained growth.
• Direct experience supporting or launching beverage products (functional beverages or healthy sodas a strong plus).
• A solid grasp of pricing, margins, trade spend, and retail economics.
• Comfort operating in a high-growth, founder-led environment.

Nice to Have

• Established relationships with key brokers and retail buyers.
• Experience building and mentoring a sales team from the ground up.
