About the Role

Global Travel Company is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead their finance function for their United States entity. This is a critical, autonomous role that supports continued growth and provides accurate, timely financial insights for decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, compliance, and leadership within an international and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

-Maintain accurate company financial records in compliance with statutory regulations
-Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
-Ensure all corporate compliance requirements are met (including payroll, sales tax, and corporate tax)
-Oversee payroll functions and ensure statutory compliance
-Develop annual financial plans and forecasts, and assess financial risks and opportunities
-Provide timely and insightful financial and operational reports and analysis
-Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements
-Support corporate budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit processes
-Manage treasury functions, cash flow, and office administration
-Ensure outsourced finance and admin functions meet business needs
-Support the global finance team on projects and ad hoc reporting
-Maintain and manage transfer pricing documentation
-Assist with the global month-end reporting process

Required Skills & Experience

-CPA qualified (or equivalent) with a practice background
-Proven leadership experience, preferably in a global or matrix team structure
-Strong attention to detail with a focus on compliance and process excellence
-Demonstrated ability to implement systems, controls, and best practices
-Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
-High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
-Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
-Experience in working independently and managing remote communications
-Knowledge of transfer pricing policies
-Willingness to travel internationally as needed

Desirable Qualifications

-Experience in the travel industry
-At least 3 years of finance management experience
-Background in tax preparation and financial strategy
