Manufacturing Supervisor - Extrusion (Nights)

Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | 7:45pm-8am on 2-2-3 schedule

Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Monroe, Ohio that’s expanding its Manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive overall team performance by ensuring strong accountability across operations, quality, delivery, and cost objectives

  • Lead, coach, and mentor employees to support productivity, engagement, and achievement of business goals

  • Evaluate team capabilities and support ongoing development to build a high-performing workforce

  • Contribute to hiring and retention efforts while fostering a positive and collaborative team environment

  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure smooth operations and effective communication across departments

  • Adjust workflows and processes to meet production demands and improve efficiency

  • Champion a strong safety culture by leading initiatives, addressing incidents, and supporting continuous safety improvements


Qualifications:

  • Prior experience leading frontline teams, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment

  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma

  • Comfortable using systems and tools to track performance, production, and operational data

  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-directed with a strong sense of urgency and accountability

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred
