Job Description

Thinkfind is seeking a highly experienced Mainframe Programmer to support critical enterprise systems for our prestigious client. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining COBOL-based applications running on IBM z/OS. This position plays a vital role in sustaining secure, high-performance legacy systems that support retail, logistics, and operational functions across a large-scale federal enterprise.

To succeed in this role, you must bring deep expertise in mainframe programming and environments, including strong skills in COBOL, IDz, and GitLab-based version control. You should have experience working with DB2 databases and IMS for both batch and transactional systems. Familiarity with job scheduling tools, system utilities, and mainframe security practices is essential.
