The expansion of a construction company has created an opening for a Senior Accountant with experience overseeing financial operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Oversee AP, AR, and GL activities
• Provide necessary documentation and reports for internal and external audits
• Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws
• Collaborate with different departments to streamline financial processes
•  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience within the construction, consumer services, or a similar industry
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Experience with Excel (lookups, pivot tables)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
