A growing Consumer Manufacturing Company is expanding operations with a Director of Finance in the Nashville area. The Director will manage accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement.

You Will:

• Oversee the monthly close process, account reconciliations, and department KPIs
• Lead an effective and comprehensive process for all accounting functions, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Conduct GL research to validate the accuracy of financial statements and implement corrections for discrepancies
• Prepare financial trend analysis to complete income statement review, including revenue and COGS
• Review Balance sheet and P&L Schedules
• Prepare monthly financial statements including cash flow statements and EBITDA
• Ensure proper timing and application of revenue recognition rules
• Coordinate the periodic consolidation and global financial close efforts and ensure proper elimination of intercompany activities
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations
• Manage and support the accounting team through coaching

You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar field
• Active CPA license
• Experience working with PE-backed International organizations
• 8+ years of experience in financial reporting, global accounting, and continuous process improvement
• 4+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing a high-performance team
• Background working in complex, global environments such as manufacturing or retail
• Proficiency with ERP systems, benchmarking tools, and reporting tools
• Proven track record of staff development and fostering a culture of collaboration
