Job Description
One of the worlds most recognized publicly traded brands is hiring their next Corporate Controller to join their leadership team. This Corporate Controller will be responsible for GL, Inventory, Cash Management, Fixed Assets and Accounting Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting and financial operations functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
- Lead coordinate and oversee the preparation of the Monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial reporting results, narratives, including preparation, review, and oversight of key deliverables.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations are followed.
- Ensure SOX controls and processes are strictly followed.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with SEC team providing supporting documents
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports to provide insights into business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide leadership to the accounting strategy, to optimize the companys financial performance and strategic position
- Lead annual audit and liaison with external audit firm.
- Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals to ensure high-quality performance and engagement as this is a hands-on and strategic role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field from a top tiered school; active CPA is required
- 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role in a publicly traded company.
- Prior public accounting experience is required from a top firm, preferably big 4
- Prior experience within consumer-packaged goods and/or manufacturing is required
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Experience with NetSuite is required
- Travel up to 20%

Compensation range based on experience and location $180,000- 275,000 + bonus + stock + products!
