The Hiring Advisors is partnering with a thriving manufacturer to hire a highly skilled Controller with experience in Food & Beverage Manufacturing and Cost Accounting to join their team in Denver, CO. The Controller will manage all financial operations and ensure industry standards and regulations compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations 
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
• Oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Manage and maintain the SAP accounting system
• Lead strategic initiatives to improve financial performance, reduce costs, and increase profitability
• Ensure project compliance with internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
• Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 
• 7+ years of experience in a Controller or similar role within a manufacturing environment  
• Strong understanding of financial statements and GAAP
• Proficient with SAP or other ERP systems
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
