Job Description
World famous, publicly traded personal care product company is looking for their next Senior Accountant. As the Senior Technical Accountant you'll be a member of the Corporate Accounting team, coordinating accounting policy development and maintenance, new accounting standard adoption, contract review, and technical accounting guidance to a variety of stakeholders across the business.
You will:
- Work cross-functionally and across applicable regions, mostly within the Global Finance Organization.
- Lead the development, implementation and communication of accounting policies while coordinating with other accounting functions, global regions and business partners.
- Prepare certain aspects of materials to be presented to the audit committee of the board of directors and coordinate presentation topics with other departments, including Tax, Treasury, Finance, and Internal Audit, and the external auditors.
- Review and provide comments on quarterly SEC filings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting
- 2+ years of public accounting experience with CPG or retail industry clients- Big 4 preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles proficiency and working knowledge of SEC regulations
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and proficiency in financial systems
Compensation range depends on location and experience $85,000 to $100,000 + bonus + more!
