MT is also registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).


Job Overview:


Reporting to one of the Senior Partners, with input from all Partners of the firm will function both in office and remotely, the Director of Human Resources will serve as an executive team member and an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting the company. This role oversees and facilitates all aspects of Human Resources (HR) including staffing, onboarding and engagement, training, employee relations, benefits and compensation administration, organizational development, performance management, and regulatory compliance. 


The Director will establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support Mitchell Titus's mission and strategic vision. The role will be instrumental in developing and implementing a human resources plan that aligns with the overall mission and strategy of the company, resulting in innovative, best practices, and organizational policies and procedures.


The ideal candidate has proven experience in strategic leadership, with a strong emphasis on relationships and team building. The individual is expected to demonstrate high emotional intelligence and the ability to influence and guide all levels of employees in the organization. They should have a strong background in areas including leadership development, change management, organizational development, and workforce planning. This executive will ensure that the culture of Mitchell Titus continues to evolve with the business and maintains a strong focus on atracting, developing, and retaining top talent.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Must have experience in creating and managing employee training/development programs and initiatives including company policies, procedures, best practices, and prevention of harassment and discrimination.
  • Oversees discipline and termination requests of employees in accordance with company policy, exit interviews.
  • Manages advanced employee relations issues including support and counseling on complex, sensitive job-related conflicts, problem-solving, and dispute resolution.
  • Provides sound leadership that ensures the delivery of the business' operational standards in recruitment activities.
  • Ensure a consistent business image in the eyes of potential candidates and talents through recruiting and on-boarding campaigns and processes.
  • Leads the strategic direction of the department and examines hiring trends in anticipation of the business's response to labor market changes, for example, shortages and surpluses of available labor.
  • Evaluates and introduces alternative strategies, for example, technology, social media, and so forth.
  • Other Duties: The Director of Human Resources also performs similar functions as is deemed fit for the proper execution of the position's duties, and duties as delegated by the Senior Partners.


Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s Degree in HR and/or SHRM Affiliation would be huge plusses.
  • Position requires 10 years of Human Resources Management experience with at least 3 years of strategic corporate people building and team culture. With 2-3 years of entrepreneurial and flexible environment experience would be desirable.
  • Proven ability to utilize professional HR expertise in a wide range of HR areas with the capability to translate HR expertise strategic directions and outcomes.
  • A value-added mindset and result driven approach; able to identify quick wins to gain credibility with leadership across expanding company.
  • Excellent verbal and writen communication skills.
