Job Description

We are seeking to hire a Ruby on Rails back-end Developer with 6-10 years of experience.
6 month contract position.
US Cit or Green Card Holder is required (no C2C).
Remote work is approved (must be living in the United States).

Technical Skills
• Ruby on Rails
• PostgreSQL
• Linux server environments
• Git or similar version control tools
• Experience with web service APIs and service-oriented architecture
• Knowledge of single-page web applications
Strong experience with any of the following Ruby, Rails, Linux, HTML, AWS, AJAX, JavaScript and JS libraries, HTTP, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, Redis, Memcache

Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications
• Build and enhance backend interfaces and business entitlements
• Analyze systems and provide technical recommendations
• Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and ensure system stability and security
• Design and document configurations and maintenance procedures
• Support production systems and product delivery teams
• Stay updated with technology trends and apply improvements to systems
