Job Description
We are seeking an Acoustics Simulation Engineer to become a part of our team in the Redmond, Washington area.
This position will require to work on-site Monday through Friday (NO REMOTE work).
The role requires deep understanding and experience in transducers and acoustics systems. You should be familiar with simulation basics using lumped
parameter and FEA in general, and COMSOL tool specifically. You will get to work with latest technology and innovations available on the market, in a very exciting and rewarding
environment. As part of an experienced team with recognized experts you will work closely together to deliver world class results to our customers.
COMSOL Multiphysics.
Physics-based modeling/simulation.
Mathematical modeling (nice to have).
Knowledge of programming: Python, MATLAB, etc.
Experience with verification and validation studies.
Understanding of wave-based physics & acoustics.
Basic knowledge of numerical methods including finite elements, boundary elements, finite difference, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum bachelors in computer science or equal.
Experience developing transducers for high-fidelity loudspeakers, headphone and earphones.
Expertise in lumped-parameter, FEA and BE modeling of electroacoustic, magnetics, and mechanics.
Expertise in standard methods for specifying and evaluating audio transducers and acoustics systems.
Knowledge of wave propagation, surface acoustic waves, and non-linear acoustics
