  • Assist with wireline cable operations, including setup, inspection, maintenance, and basic repairs of cable assemblies and related equipment.

  • Hands-on experience with electrical systems maintenance, including basic repairs and component replacement.
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers, and related equipment.
  • Familiarity with wireline cable operations and maintenance in an industrial or energy-related environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to fault-finding and root cause identification.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, standing, and working in varied conditions.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in oilfield services, wireline logging, or similar energy-sector operations.
  • Exposure to preventive maintenance programs and computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Basic knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, and control systems.
  • Experience working in a team-based environment with cross-functional technical staff.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial technology preferred.
