About the Role:

As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods within the warehouse. You will support daily operations by accurately picking and packing orders, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating shipping and receiving activities. Your work will directly impact on-time deliveries, stock accuracy, and overall service levels to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order picking and packing according to pick lists and customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness of each order
• Receive inbound shipments, verify quantities and condition against documentation, and record discrepancies as needed
• Prepare outbound shipments, including labeling, packaging, and documentation, to meet shipping and carrier requirements
• Use inventory software systems to update stock movements, adjust quantities, and track item locations in real time
• Organize, store, and rotate inventory in designated areas to maintain order, accessibility, and stock integrity
• Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventories to support accurate stock records
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, following all safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents promptly
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks, resolve issues, and meet daily operational targets

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or storekeeping role
• Proficiency in order picking and packing, including handling various product sizes and weights
• Hands-on experience using inventory software systems or warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Working knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, documentation, and basic freight requirements
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions clearly
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling orders and inventory records
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
• Availability to work 1st shift: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Monday–Friday standard schedule

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in a high-volume distribution or manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with barcode scanners, handheld devices, or RF systems
• Basic understanding of lean practices or continuous improvement in warehouse operations
• Forklift or other material handling equipment experience

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Formal training or certification in warehouse operations or inventory control preferred
• Any relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA-related) considered an advantage
