Sr. Financial Analyst #1189

Job Summary:
 Responsible for preparing, validating and analysing financial information; preparing journal entries.
 Maintaining fixed asset records; reconciling fixed asset and other general ledger account balances on a monthly basis; work closely with other departments to assist with fixed asset and other financial issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 Prepare fixed asset account reconciliations, investigating and clearing any reconciling items
 Review fixed asset project and purchase requests for proper accounting treatment and compliance with System’s capital policy.
 Work closely with departments in recognizing asset retirements timely
 Provide support for internal and external audits
 Assist in footnote preparation for quarterly/annual financial statements.
 Perform other responsibilities or assignments as required.

Required Skills & Experience:
 3 to 5 years in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Education:
 Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred Education:
 Master’s Degree preferred.

Schedule / Key notes:
 Contract to Hire based on performance, however it is not guaranteed
 They are looking for the strongest candidate, so they will look at people who are only interested in temp as well as temp to perm.
 This person will be doing journal entries, performance narratives, budgeting, but they need someone who is strong on the analytics side, that is the most important part.
 Looking for 3-5 years of experience, healthcare experience is a plus Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance MBA is a plus No certifications needed
 This person must be able to multi-task, they need to be able to take on multiple tasks and still meet deadlines This is the Dialysis division of Henry Ford, and they have to be able to tell the story of how the program is performing
 Must have strong Excel skills PeopleSoft experience would be great
 Someone who can help with Process Improvement would be great
 Experience in budgeting would be helpful Being able to switch from one task to another is important
 They will be working with 3 other analysts This position is onsite 5 days a week Teams Interview

Shifts:
 Mon-Fri, 0800 AM – 0430 PM
