Job Description

Pay Rate: $22/hr
Work Schedule: Day shift. Monday through Friday (6:00 am to 5:00 pm) – overtime on Saturdays is expected but not always mandatory. The 60-60-50 schedule is active.
60-60-50 schedule
2 60 hour weeks followed by a 50 hour week.
60's are 6:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Saturday
50's are 6:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday

Job Responsibilities:
● Maintain and operate liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment
● Perform intermediate gas/chemical troubleshooting and repair of delivery equipment
● Perform daily rounds, including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online gas and chemical systems, verifying toxic gas monitoring operations, and completing chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change-outs
● Monitor and understand correct liquid bulk delivery procedures for each product on site
● Perform bulk gas and chemical trailer transfers.
● Provide information for and initiate proper reporting procedures per on-site policies including, but not limited to: Quality Incident Reports, product acceptance, inventory and material usage, bulk gas analysis, analyzer calibration, monitoring, safety parameters, and personnel requirements
● Assist in the identification and resolution of gas/chemical-related manufacturing problems
● Satisfactorily complete TGCM Tech 6 local OJT and qualification requirements within 12 months in job
● Issue Hazardous Work Permits
● Restart all high purity gas and/or chemical delivery equipment
● Assist in the development and maintenance of applicable site-specific work instructions
● Comply with all applicable HS&E Standards including, but not limited to: PPE, Lock Out/Tag Out Program, etc.
● Complete assigned tasks per existing procedures
● Performs minor analytical procedures and/or sampling procedures
● Accountable for the safety of all persons, and general public surrounding facilities

Job Requirements:
● High School Diploma or GED
● 2-3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
● Good communication skills
● Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
● Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment
● Knowledge of all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy, including product acceptance criteria, inventory and material usage, monitoring, safety parameters and personnel requirements
● Electro-mechanical aptitude
● Display aptitude for controlling an emergency situation and coordinating problem solving actions
● Able to understand and abide by stringent safety rules
● Demonstrate ability to train junior technicians

Physical Requirements:
● Ability to lift 40 lbs
● Ability to stand/walk up to 11 hours per day
● Ability to operate hydraulic foot pump (55 gallon drums - drums could be up to 500 lbs)
● Job requires constant bending to successfully complete shift tasks (validating information, checking systems, etc.)
● Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasks
● Please note: due to Covid-19, site restrictions mandate that all employees wear a face mask while onsite.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/electronic rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry.
