Our client is seeking a Workfront Engineer to optimize and support their Workfront platform while ensuring seamless integration with Salesforce and other key systems. This role will focus on resolving integration challenges, managing a backlog of support tickets, and implementing best practices to enhance Workfront functionality and governance.
The ideal candidate will bring a balance of engineering expertise and platform administration experience, helping drive effective project execution while empowering users to fully leverage the capabilities of Workfront.
This is a contract position requiring approximately 25–30 hours per week, with set hours that can be established. The role is fully remote, with preference for candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Workfront integrations, with a strong focus on Salesforce connectivity and workflow optimization
Manage and resolve a backlog of Workfront support tickets, delivering timely and high-quality production support
Conduct a discovery and assessment phase to evaluate current Workfront configurations and recommend improvements and best practices
Build and maintain Workfront reports and dashboards to support operational and project management needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Workfront capabilities with broader organizational goals
Establish and implement governance processes and standards to improve platform usage and empower end users
Work within Agile methodologies, including creating and refining user stories in Jira to support project initiatives
Partner with a Business Analyst to gather, document, and prioritize technical and business requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of hands-on experience with Workfront, including configuration and administrative responsibilities
Proven experience managing Workfront integrations within the Adobe ecosystem and external systems (e.g., Salesforce)
Strong experience building reports and analyzing data within Workfront
Familiarity with Agile development practices and project management tools such as Jira
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to gather requirements and manage competing priorities
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing a part-time workload
Preferred Qualifications
Experience writing user stories and contributing to Agile project documentation
Experience developing and implementing Workfront governance frameworks and best practices to optimize platform usage
