Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Workday Platform Lead to oversee and manage Workday integrations, development initiatives, and finance-related processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Workday integration tools, configuration, and development, with a deep understanding of Workday Financials. This role will involve partnering with stakeholders, leading Workday projects, ensuring system stability, and delivering solutions aligned with business goals.

 Job Details:

• Design and maintain integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, Web Services, and APIs.
• Ensure seamless data flow and system accuracy across Workday and third-party applications.
• Troubleshoot integration issues to ensure system reliability.
• Customize and configure Workday modules, especially for financial processes.
• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to implement scalable solutions.
• Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights for Finance and other business units.
• Optimize Workday Financials, including modules like Procurement, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Expense Management.
• Partner with Finance teams to improve workflows, reporting, and compliance.
• Ensure configurations align with accounting standards and best practices.
• Lead Workday implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs.
• Oversee updates and releases, managing impacts on configurations and integrations.
• Conduct testing and user acceptance for new features or updates.
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on Workday Financials and integrations.
• Collaborate with IT, HR, and Finance teams to ensure system capabilities meet business strategies.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Workday integrations, including Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and EIB.
• Expertise in Workday Financials, with experience in modules like General Ledger, Procurement, Expenses, or Accounts Payable.
• Strong skills in Workday configuration, reporting, and dashboard customization.
• Experience leading Workday implementation or enhancement projects.
• Proficiency in XML, XSLT, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards for Workday integrations.
• Advanced reporting and analytics capabilities using Workday tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving abilities with a focus on scalable solutions.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Workday Integration or Financials certification; Workday HR experience a plus.
• Experience with other ERP systems or integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) is a plus. 
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations is a plus. 

 
Location: This position is remote with occasional travel for team collaboration or project activities.
