Our client is a Glendale, CA area Fintech company looking to hire an OpenText Exstream Developer (Cloud Native) with Java. This is a long-term contract that will require onsite work 3x a week in their Glendale area office. 

The role requires deep expertise in document composition, automation, and cloud-native deployments. This role will focus on designing and enhancing Exstream templates, managing Exstream engines, and delivering optimized solutions for batch, interactive, and cloud environments.

Long term contract. C2C or W2.
Position is onsite 3x a week. Local candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance complex document templates and forms using OpenText Exstream Designer.
• Install, configure, and support Exstream engines across development, testing, and production environments.
• Set up, manage, and optimize CloudNative Exstream instances, including migrations from on-premises to cloud.
• Translate business requirements into technical document composition and form solutions.
• Improve template performance, modularity, and maintainability for long-term scalability.
• Develop and support both batch processing and interactive/on-demand use cases.
• Integrate Exstream with upstream/downstream systems (data sources, workflows, print, and digital delivery channels).

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in OpenText Exstream Designer and the broader Exstream ecosystem.
• 10+ years of relevant experience using similar technologies, including Java.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology
• Proven experience with CloudNative Exstream implementations and migrations.
• Solid knowledge of programming languages and development best practices.
