Senior Instrument Reliability Engineer

Location: Rosemount, MN

Schedule: 9/80 with Turnaround support

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 base, depending on experience

Relocation: Available

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Instrument Reliability Engineer to provide strategic leadership for reliability initiatives at a large industrial manufacturing site. This is a highly visible role with significant ownership of reliability programs, asset management, and site-wide reliability strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and support the site's Mechanical Integrity Program.
• Develop and implement equipment and reliability strategies.
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations.
• Establish and improve reliability standards, processes, and best practices.
• Serve as a strategic reliability resource across engineering, maintenance, and operations.
• Participate in industry groups and conferences to identify and implement best practices.
• Support Turnaround activities and long-term asset reliability initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

• Senior-level Instrument Reliability Engineer with significant industrial experience.
• Background in refining, petrochemical, chemical, midstream, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with Mechanical Integrity Programs, RCFA, and reliability strategy development.
• Proven ability to drive reliability improvements and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong program ownership and independent decision-making skills.
• Refining experience strongly preferred.
