Location: Remote but MUST be based out of one of the following locations: Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago, Atlanta, Columbus (OH), or Florida

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Transportation Insurance Producer to help expand our presence within the trucking and transportation industry. This role is focused on generating new business opportunities with mid-sized and large trucking fleets, particularly organizations operating 25 or more units.
The ideal candidate combines strong sales instincts with industry expertise and an established network within transportation. This individual will play a key role in building long-term client partnerships while delivering customized insurance and risk management solutions tailored to fleet operations.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the trucking and transportation sector
Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects, with an emphasis on fleets of 25+ power units
Build relationships with fleet owners, transportation executives, and industry stakeholders to drive business growth
Evaluate client operations and recommend tailored insurance and risk management solutions
Partner with internal service and carrier teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and ongoing client support
Maintain awareness of transportation industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risk exposures
Consistently achieve or exceed individual sales and production goals
Represent the organization professionally through networking, referrals, and industry engagement opportunities
Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or commercial insurance production
Existing relationships within the trucking or transportation industry strongly preferred
Experience working with mid-sized to large trucking fleets is highly desirable
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
Highly organized with strong prospecting and pipeline management abilities
Ability to build credibility and trust with business owners and operational leaders
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred
Candidates without an active license must be willing and able to obtain one within an established timeframe
