Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the general accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, adherence to accounting standards, and strong internal controls. This role also focuses on developing team members and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the general accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
• Establish, maintain, and improve accounting policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency
• Partner with external auditors during audits, providing required documentation and support
• Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Prepare and deliver financial reports to senior leadership, including actionable insights and recommendations
• Coach and develop team members through training, guidance, and performance feedback
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support business goals and initiatives
• Stay current on accounting industry trends, standards, and best practices
