Quality Control Representative 

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our Internal Audit and Quality Control efforts. In this role, you will help evaluate the credit union’s products and services, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to processes that reduce errors and strengthen overall quality. .

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform timely quality control reviews of credit union products and services in accordance with established guidelines
  • Evaluate Mortgage Quality Control processes, ensuring compliance with program standards, and prepare monthly audit reports for management
  • Review new loan files and account records for accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze file maintenance reports and complete additional audit-related tasks as needed
  • Retrieve and submit loan documentation to risk management systems and external auditors
  • Utilize reporting tools to track and assess quality trends across consumer and business products

General Responsibilities

  • Promote credit union products and services to members
  • Participate in required meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain a professional appearance and organized workspace
  • Foster positive relationships with members and represent the credit union within the community

Member Service Expectations

  • Create a strong first impression through professional appearance and friendly interactions
  • Communicate clearly and courteously, both in person and over the phone
  • Respond to calls promptly and address members by name whenever possible

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–3 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • 1–3 years of mortgage lending experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of lending policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications and systems
  • Understanding of credit union operations
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Professional, approachable demeanor with a collaborative mindset
