Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our team in Eden Prairie, MN. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of complex hardware systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet project requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and development of hardware systems from concept to production.
- Perform schematic design, PCB layout, and simulation of electronic circuits.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototyping for new hardware designs.
- Collaborate with software and firmware teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues during the design and testing phases.
- Maintain documentation for design specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware design engineering.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence).
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
- Experience with microcontrollers, FPGA, and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with signal integrity and power distribution concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in RF design and wireless communication systems.
- Knowledge of thermal management and mechanical design considerations.
- Previous experience in leading hardware design projects.
