Professional Land Surveyor

Job Overview

Our client is seeking to add a NEW Professional Land Surveyor to their growing team. This role is responsible for performing land surveying activities to determine property boundaries and lines, supporting transportation and land development projects through both field and office-based work.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Professional Land Surveyor, you will:

• Utilize surveying equipment and measurements to accurately determine property boundaries and lines

• Research property information through title documents, survey records, and land records

• Prepare and document property lines and plats for submission to local land use authorities

• Perform deed research and generate base maps using AutoCAD

• Complete boundary calculations, analysis, and provide field support calculations

• Conduct research and analysis related to title reports, ROW/E, Land Title Surveys, topography, and mapping

What You Bring to the Table

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of professional land surveying experience

• Active Illinois Professional Surveyor License

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD

• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
