SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Application Engineer

Location: Argentina

We are seeking an experienced SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Application Engineer to join a global ERP team responsible for supporting, enhancing, and maintaining SAP Sales & Distribution solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality SAP solutions while ensuring the stability and continuous improvement of business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application support for SAP SD solutions in production environments.

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues while meeting service level objectives.

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify business needs.

• Analyze existing system capabilities and recommend functional solutions.

• Configure SAP SD modules to support business processes and resolve application issues.

• Collaborate with development teams to design, develop, and implement custom SAP solutions.

• Participate in system testing, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Coordinate and support deployments to production environments.

• Provide user support and knowledge transfer when required.

• Contribute to process improvements through automation and continuous enhancement initiatives.

• Mentor junior team members and share functional expertise when appropriate.

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting or implementing SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA within the Sales & Distribution (SD) module.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP SD configuration.

• Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise SAP applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Customer-focused mindset with strong collaboration skills.

• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in Agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ABAP debugging or code analysis.

• Exposure to SAP Security, SAP Integration, or automation tools.

• Experience working within Agile or Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and SAP application lifecycle management.
