Interim Financial Reporting Analyst – 6-Month Contract (Remote, Lithuania)

Strategic Staffing Solutions International’s customer is one of the world’s largest non-bank B2B cross-border payments companies, with 400+ professionals in Vilnius and teams across the US, UK, and India.

We’re looking for a Interim Financial Reporting Analyst  to provide short-term support during a transition period between external consulting support and the return of a permanent employee from maternity leave. The focus will be on preparing and updating local GAAP financial statements for multiple European legal entities, using prior period financials and established reporting templates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and update local GAAP statutory financial statements for EU branches, primarily Poland and Czech Republic, with additional exposure to Spain, Italy, and France.
• Leverage prior period financials to roll forward statutory accounts.
• Set up and maintain financial statements in Oracle FCCS.
• Prepare supporting schedules using Excel and Word reporting templates.
• Coordinate with external consultants to ensure consistency and continuity.
• Perform basic accounting research related to local GAAP requirements.
• Support the financial close and reporting process as needed.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial reporting deliverables.

Requirements:

• Strong background in financial reporting / statutory accounting.
• Experience preparing local GAAP financial statements (EU entities preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle FCCS or similar consolidation/reporting systems.
• Advanced Excel skills; comfortable working with structured templates.
• Ability to work independently in a transition environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.

Contract Scope:

• 6-month contract covering maternity leave.
• Remote role from anywhere in Lithuania (must be located in Lithuania).
• Employment or B2B contract options.
• Compensation: up to €4,000 gross/month.
